Invest In Digital Ads for music videos – Guiltybeatz . Ghanaian producer and DJ, Roland Banful, known popularly as Guiltybeatz has advised musicians to invest in advertising music videos.
The award-winning producer was speaking in an interview with Kobbykyei on his star talks show. He maintained that musicians who wish to attain global success must invest more in promoting their music videos online.
Explaining further, Guiltybeatz suggested that musicians take the opportunity to invest in digital ads. He advised them to invest in Facebook ads, Instagram ads and YouTube ads for their music videos.
This, he said would enable them reach out to newer audience worldwide. And also at a cheaper cost than they do with traditional media such as Television.
Answering a question posed by the host on how to get Ghanaian songs to be accepted globally, Guiltybeatz said:
“ It begins with producing a good song and the language. You can mix pidgin and twi. But make sure the twi is not too deep. It should be simple words that even foreigners can pronounce. And your melodies too. Also, you need to learn about PR. How to market your video on YouTube, Instagram and google. When you upload your videos on YouTube, put some 1,000 dollars there and run ads for a month. And see how it goes.”
Guiltybeatz who has been producing award-winning for the past ten years is associated with international acts such as Sarkodie, Mr. Eazi, Beyonce and Victoria Kimani among many others.
He is popularly known for his Akwaaba rhythm featuring Mr.Eazi, Patapaa and Pappy Kojo. This song became a globally acclaimed hit in 2018.
