According to early reports, the world champion was recovering at his home after undergoing surgery.
Maradona was admitted in the early days of November to undergo some brain surgery. This follows spells of complaints about fatigue and low-spirit by the star.
The Argentine soccer hero is noted as one of the greatest footballers of all time. He was instrumental in Argentina’s world cup victory in 1986.
