As the global pandemic of the novel coronavirus keeps crossing borders and barriers, the Kwahu Traditional Council, as measures to curtail the spread of the virus has locked down kwahu.
In a letter addressed by the council, they stated that they have to maintain law and order and also to preserve the health and lives of the indigents.
According to the council, Kwahu has a lot of aged and should the virus get to them, it would be disastrous.
The council has initiated this lockdown protocol to help the ruling government and themselves to stay safe in these troubling times.
The letter made it clear that, in order for the country to contain the virus, there will be no travelling in and out of Kwahu both for foreigners or indigents.
There will also be no social gathering for whatever purpose.
