Black Stars arrive in Ghana after AFCON early exit

The Ghana national football team, Black Stars arrived early this morning, 11th July 2019 from Egypt following their early exit from the ongoing AFCON.

According to reports, the Black Stars left their base in Ismalia to the airport on Wednesday and arrived this morning.

Caleb Ekuban and Andy Yiadom were not part of the team when they arrived in Ghana and according to reports they left for Milan and London respectively.

There were no fans to meet them at the airport as Ghanaians are very disappointed in their abysmal performance at the 2019 AFCON.

The Black Stars were kicked out of the AFCON by Tunisia through penalty shoot-out after playing out a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.

The team failed to heed to their promise of winning the cup and many have attributed their failure to the poor coaching technique of Coach Kwesi Appiah.

The last time Ghana won the Africa Cup of Nations Trophy was in 1982.
