The owner of the popular pornographic website, empressleak has been arrested by the Cybercrime Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Owner of the website, Anderson Ofosuhene Anim alias Mario Gee was arrested over charges of money laundering, pornography, and breach of provisions on cybercrime.
The prosecution revealed that Mr. Anim’s website came under scrutiny from the police for publishing pornographic material of Ghanaians on their blindside.
He was therefore arrested on 30th January 2020 at his plush residence in Osino in the Eastern Region with loads of pornographic material that was being uploaded onto his website.
Speaking at a forum in Parliament, he said that out of 275 MPs, only about 100 of them actually show up to work while others who are usually absent get others to sign their name for them.
According to Mr Muntaka, the house is losing its integrity as absentee MPs usually spend their time outside the house doing private business.
“Even the processes that we have in the house chaired by the second division speaker, where if you have a business you have to report it to the house. The speaker set a committee so you go to defend it.”
“They look at the business and the work that you do. If they are convinced that it is not going to be a conflict they give you a certificate and the speaker signs it. Many MPs don’t do it and they continue with their business,” he lamented.
He explained that these actions are mostly as a result of the election processes where hardworking lawmakers are voted out and those who shirk their responsibilities are left at post.
“Because of the way we get elected, people are not motivated to stay and learn and unfortunately those who turn to stay and learn are being discouraged.”
“How do you go to one primaries (referencing NPP Primaries) and lose 12 chairpersons of committees, people who dedicate time to stay in the house to help run government business.”
His comment follows concerns raised by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei Owusu over the appearance of the names of some absentee Members of Parliament in the House’s attendance book.
It was discovered on Thursday, July 2, that some MPs who were not in the House had their names in the votes and proceedings a practice he was not happy about.
He called for an investigation into the matter saying “the real issue here is who has been marking those absent present.”
Mr Muntaka said it was unfortunate that some of his colleagues are not willing to go through the painful process learning of lawmaking, sitting for committees and doing research on said committees.
The Minority Chief Whip said these actions have not only turned the house “upside-down” but destroying it alongside its integrity built over the years.
Speaking on Top Story on Joy FM he said that because they are supposed to check each other, it is tedious to get his colleagues to do the right thing.
The MP advocated for a system in the chamber that allows people to log in and log out of the house.
This, he said, will prevent members from signing for other members when they are not around.
“When we have a bio metric system that we use and every month, after establishing an ethics committee, if one do not have this number of hours in the month they get a deduction in salaries and beyond that abcd can happen.”
The old voters’ identity card is still valid for identification related to socio-economic transactions until the Electoral Commission finishes the compilation of the the new voters’ register.
Mr Samuel Tettey, Deputy Chairman in Charge of Operations at the Commission, who told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, said the Commission usually shared data with the relevant institutions, including banks, to enable them to verify the authenticity of the cards presented to them as part of their transactions.
“As our major stakeholders, the Commission will communicate accordingly when the process is done and when the new card becomes operational,” he said. “As soon as we are done with the ongoing registration and the register is compiled and legitimised by the Court, the old card becomes invalid.” But until then, Mr Tettey explained that applicants who had successfully registered and received their cards could only use them to vouch for prospective applicants they knew as Ghanaians.
The GNA gathered that some individuals had been presenting their new Voters’ ID cards to institutions to transact business and became frustrated when they were told they could not be accepted now.
An official at a bank located in the Ministries area, who pleaded on anonymity, told GNA that some clients had been presenting their new card as proof of their identity but the bank did not have the data base yet to validate their authenticity.

How To Make Money On Chy Mall
There are many ways of making money from Chy Mall in Ghana and Africa. Check them out below:
. Store profit
Direct sharing profit
Chain store profit
Service Profit
Chain service profit
Traditional EC profit
The Store Profit is the income that all Chy associates enjoy every ten days so long as they have some products in their online shop that is being retailed by Chy on their behalf. So once you have a package with Chy, you are eligible to enjoy this money.
Direct Sharing Profit
With the Direct Sharing Profit, whenever you introduce someone, there is a volume of money generated in your account. This volume depends on the package the person subscribes to and the number of people you have recruited.
So, for instance, when you recruit one VIP3 person, you are entitled to 20% of the amount the person signs up with. So you will get 16$ which is equivalent to 88 Cedis.
Same way, if you recruit 5 of those VIP3 members, you will make 88 cedis times five which is 440 Cedis.
That is how the Direct Sharing Profit is made and the amount earned is paid daily.
For the Chain Sharing Profit, it makes use of the first and second generation downlines. You get 3% of your first generation downline’s total product earnings and 2% of your second generation’s total product earnings
So, if you enrol 20 people who are all making 100 dollars on their take-home products using the VIP 3 account, you are entitled to 3$ per person.
So for those 20 first generations, you are making 60$ as your Chain Sharing Profit.
Now, if those 20 people also recruited 2 people each under the same VIP3, it means you have 40 people under your second generation. So you will make 2 $ per person there. Making a total of 80$.
Service Profit
In Chy Mall, there are two legs for referrals. So we have the left and right legs. Like a binary family tree. So when you recruit someone, the person goes to either the left or right leg. And when you recruit the next person, they have to join the other leg.
However, in this business, you are paid a 12% profit on every sign up on your weaker leg. So if there is one particular leg where your first generation is not able to get second generations, you are entitled to 12% of any direct first-generation recruitments you make on that leg.
For the strong leg, there is no such profit for it.
Chain Service profit
With the Chy Chain Service profit, you are entitled to 50 per cent of all your first generation’s service profit and 20% of all your second generation’s service profit.
So if your first generation recruit about 50 people in total on their weaker legs, and they make 5$ per person from each of those 50 recruits, it means they are making a cumulative sum of 250$ as their service profit.
So you are entitled to 50% of that amount which is 125$ as your chain Service Profit.
Same way, if your second-generation makes the same amount or less, you get 20% of what they make together.
Chy Mall has a traditional wares store on its portal where individuals can purchase their traditional items such as TV, Fridge, Decoder, Air Conditioners and others. These products are not from Chy itself. They are products from other manufacturers who have been introduced to sell their products globally through Chy.
So as an Associate of Chy, you can invite a company to sell their products on the platform. You don’t have to worry about the number of companies because you can invite as many companies as possible.
When the companies you have invited make sales, you are entitled to 1% of their total sales. So if the company makes sales of 1Million Dollars in a month, you are entitled to 10,000 Dollars as your Traditional EC profit and that is worth almost 60,000 Cedis in Ghana.
Truthfully, this business would soon grow big across the globe and Africa in particular. I have a friend who borrowed 19,000 cedis to invest in this. He currently makes at least 2,300 cedis every month from this company and so far he has been there for 6 months. This means he has already made his capital and whatever money he’d be making within the next months would be his profit. Mind you, he also got products which he sold and also used some. Plus, this earnings keep coming until you decide to stop reselling on the platform!
Which other business is better than this? A 9 to 5 Job? Or a buy and sell business? Just think about it. With as low as 770 cedis, you can start making monthly income for a very long time.
So, what are you waiting for before you join Chy Mall in Ghana and Africa? Call or WhatsApp 0240468001 for more information on this and how you can be trained to make good money out of this opportunity.
Andrew told Jay Foley and Emefa Adeti on JoyPrime’s Prime Morning that he took the lady whom he had known on social media for a while but had never met out and that was when everything unfolded.
He added that the next morning, he got a call from Joshua who asked of his whereabout but while answering, he [Joshua] heard the voice of the lady.
When Joshua asked who it was, Andrew told him that it was a lady he met at the club but while the conversation continued, Joshua realised it was a familiar voice.
“One thing that made Joshua believe me was that even after our quarrel and all that, we both realised that if I knew it was something connected to him, I wouldn’t even have allowed him to come to the house,” he said.
The duo have been together since 2004 and have been voices behind great tunes such as Sokode, Pressure and the likes and are still working on more with their latest being, No dulling a collaboration with hiplife artiste Kuami Eugene.
This was as a result of verbal attacks he suffered from former President Jerry John Rawlings.
In a book titled “Working with Rawlings”, authored by former Local Government Minister, Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi; Prof. Mills is quoted as saying “I can’t take it anymore, so I have decided to resign as President”.
“President Mills asked me (called him on phone) whether I had heard the things Rawlings had said about him to the smaller group of NDC loyalists that he had met in Tamale after the congress.
“When I replied in the negative, he said “Kwamena, then try and get the audio and listen to it. I have been humiliated enough. I can’t take it anymore so I have decided to resign as President”.
Prof. Ahwoi says it took the intervention of Captain (Retired) Kojo Tsikata, a former National Security Advisor and Kofi Totobi-Quakyi a former Minister of Information to convince the late President to change his mind.
“He had packed many of his belongings in suitcases and card boxes and many others were strewn on the seats in the hall, ready for packing.”
He recounts the conclusion of the meeting “…he agreed not to resign and we agreed to take steps to ensure that Rawlings stopped his public humiliation of President Mills or reduced it significantly.”
He further reveals that they agreed to use younger members of the party to respond to Mr Rawlings after any public aspersions of President Mills.
“Any time former President Rawlings attacked or insulted President Mills publicly, one of the younger members of the party would take him on publicly not with insults but logic.”
These are the younger party members Prof. Ahwoi claims Mr, Rawlings christened ”babies with sharp teeth.”
The National Service Scheme (NSS) has reiterated the need to enrol newly trained tertiary-level teachers on the scheme as it challenges the NDC over its cancellation plans.
“The management of the scheme deems the comments as unfortunate and feels compelled in the present circumstances, and for what we perceive should be in the public interest, to share hard facts in the hope to bring clarity to the circumstances surrounding the introduction of the programme,” parts of the statement read.
“It is absolutely critical for members of the public and especially the NDC to be reminded that graduates of a tertiary institution that are liable to national service cannot be employed contrary to the provisions of the NSS Act,” the statement urged.
They further cautioned politicians to stay away from denigrating a nationally accepted programme that serves as a transition between school and the world of work that instils in the youth the sense and spirit of nation-building and civic responsibility.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reacted to reports on social media that questions on some of the yet to be written 2020 examination papers at the Senior High School (SHS) level has leaked.
According to WAEC, its attention has been drawn to the “circulation of several fake versions of the Integrated Science 1 & 2 Papers to be administered on 3rd August, 2020 on social media platforms.”
“The Council wishes to allay the fears of all stakeholders especially candidates about the alleged leakage of the Papers.”
It said a “scrutiny of the images being shared on social media indicates once again, the activities of certain individuals mainly operators of rogue websites and WhatsApp groups aimed at leading candidates astray and discrediting the Council,” a statement signed and issued on Saturday night [August 1, 2020] by the Head of Public Affairs at WAEC, Mrs Agnes Teye-Cudjoe said.
It said the Council was very vigilant and has alerted the BNI, CID and the National Security about the threats posed by “these groups.”
“The Council assures all its stakeholders that it has put in place all the necessary measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2020,” it added.
Meanwhile, the Council urged all candidates “to stay focused, continue with their preparation for the examination and comply with the COVID-19 protocols in order to keep safe during the period.”
While appreciating the interest shown in this year’s WASSCE for school candidates, the Council wishes to caution all stakeholders to be circumspect in putting out information on the examinations, it added.
On social media, some people had accused the government of deliberately taking undue advantage of some head teachers to circulate the yet-to-be-written WASCCE papers to students as an agenda to ensure that the first batch of the free Senior High School (SHS) students pass the exams “massively”.
The proponents of the allegation said the government was behind the leakage and circulation of the papers and also alleged that some head teachers of various senior high schools were being used by the government to facilitate this activity.
They subsequently attached some of the papers they said were in their possession to their posts on social media.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has also reacted to what it said was the “accompanying twist to the effect that the paper has been leaked deliberately to ensure that the candidates pass the examination.”
In a statement dated August 1, 2020, signed and issued by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the GES recalled that “the purported leakage of examination questions has become an annual ritual and should be seen in that light and therefore should not allow themselves to be deceived by propagandist seeking to achieve some mischievous objectives.”
The Drunkards Association of Ghana wants President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to introduce a double-track system at drinking spots all over the country and also PPEs for members.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 14th address to the nation on measures to be taken by government to fight the coronavirus pandemic announced the reopening of drinking spots and tourist sites in the country.
While places such as pubs and nightclubs remained closed, the president noted that open-air drinking spots can operate by observing the laid down coronavirus protocols.
However, National President of the Ghana Drunkards Association, Moses Drybon, has disclosed that the president must initiate a double tracks system at drinking spots as part of measures to avoid overcrowding.
According to him, the drinking spot double-track system – which will be in the morning and evening – will ensure that social distancing is properly observed.
“In an open place where people can rush in to drink… when you drink to some level we will allow you to go home so that we allow others to also come. We will give you a card if you’re in the gold batch you will come in the evening, if you are in the green batch you will come in the morning so that we will be able to observe the social distancing protocols,” Moses Drybon told JoyNews.
Chief Executive Officer of Bless His Imperial Majesty (BHIM) Music Group Stonebwoy has stated that, when it comes to dancehall and lyricism, King of dancehall Shatta Wale Can’t match him.
The two dancehall artists who had been slated for a live battle on Asaase 99.5fm days ago after the release of already video by Beyonce featuring Shatta Wale, came at each other and proving who has lyrical power and dexterity.
When the presenter asked if there was a battle between shatta wale and Stonebwoy, who would emerge as the winner, Stonebwoy stated that, he will win the said battle with ease.
He mentioned also that, even when him and shatta wale battled out for the king of dancehall crown about a decade ago, he emerged as a winner so she does not doubt his ability of winning this time around.
Moreover, when the question was thrown at shatta wale, he said he’s also the reigning king so he will wait for that day to prove who comes out with flying colours.
