Award-winning radio personality, Sammy Forson has advised artistes especially upcoming ones to be “born-ready” by broadening their scope and enhancing their acts with the relevant knowledge.

Speaking to Kobby Kyei on his popular e-chat segment on YouTube Get2KnowWithKobbyKyei, the Joy FM DJ cum presenter remarked that one way an artiste can be marketable and appealing is when he learns and add value to him or herself aside recording songs.
“As an artiste, you don’t just go and sit in the studio and record a song and that’s it. You need to have a mentor. Look at another artiste that is doing good and inspires you. Get knowledge and equip yourself such that you can market yourself and get a deal in five minutes with an international label when they contact you“, Sammy Forson said.
In further advice especially to up and coming artistes, Sammy Forson said,
“Know where you’re going as an artiste. Have your identity because your identity will let you know how to connect with certain audiences. So know what you can offer and know where you’re headed and nobody can stop you and please learn, gather knowledge, network, meet the right people and broaden your team and you’ll go places “.
