Ghana Movie industry for the past years have not been doing well. This industry had employed over millions of people in the country and have helped to reduce unemployment in the country.
Technology has really contributed to the fall and rise of the industry. Few Directors and Producers have also adjust to the new technological system to help revive the industry. Movies like “Genesis Of The Ashantis, African Kung Fu Nazis, Kobolo, etc. are testimonies to the change of the new trend in Ghana Film Industry.
Now for the first time in the industry, Kumawood is collaborating with Hollywood by inviting one of their stars to star with a Ghanaian action super star called “Andrews Mensah” popularly known as “ Scorpion” in a new movie project “AGENT BARCHER” to help connect to the world in other to attract more foreign investors and to encourage more investors to rush into film making.
Agent Barcher is a movie that talks much about our African countries and it’s security and to draw much attention to its citizens. This project will involve corporate media firms in Kumawood, such as “Corporate media, TeamItakula, Peak Multimedia, IMG, Gyanzy films and Thunder light cinema.
We need to support Ghana Movie industry, these Corporate media firms are giving in their best to come together as one body to help in bringing back the Pride of the INDUSTRY.
