Speaking to the media after being interrogated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor ( OSP), Mr Adjei stressed that he is “being crucified for doing nothing.”
Mr Adjei was captured in an investigative documentary titled, “Contracts for Sale” by Manasseh Azure Awuni confessing reluctantly to being an owner of a company, Talent Discovery Limited( TDL), which wins government contracts and then sells them to the highest bidder.
Subsequently, he was suspended by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and also invited by the OSP, which questioned him on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

Lawyer for Mr Adjei, Augustine Obuor, speaking to Citi FM, defended his client, arguing that Mr Adjei’s TDL has not sold any contract to anybody or entity.
“Whoever bought a contract from us should come and tell us…We have not sold any contract. Let him [Manasseh Azure Awuni] show us a signed contract that TDL has entered into with any company,” Mr Obuor argued.
