A man believed to be in his 70s and his sister have been butchered by an unknown assailant at Xavi Dziehe.
The names of the deceased according to the assemblyman for the area, Hon. Lord Sea Duho, have been given as Dzilaa and one Ami popularly called ” woda”.
Their assailants slashed them in the neck and head and left them to their fate until they bled to death.
Details of the heinous crime are sketchy, but the Akatsi South District Police Commander Supt. Samuel Lartey Lawson in an interview with the media confirmed the suspected murders.
He said investigations on the incident have begun.
