Hot: Court Halts NDC Primaries Set For January 2019

The High Court in Accra has placed an interim injunction on the presidential primary of the National Democratic Congress scheduled for January 26, 2019.

The injunction, which was granted ex-parte Tuesday, will last for only 10 days, documents from the court sighted by 3News stated, but the applicants have the liberty to re-apply for an extension on expiry.

It follows an application to the court by some two members of the party; Adballah Issah and James Kafu Nartey-Oman, filed on Tuesday.

The two applicants have sued the National Democratic Congress over the rules and guidelines covering the presidential primary.
