I Don’t Need Awards To Remain Relevant’ – Kelvyn Boy Fires Wendy Shay

There’s a new beef brewing in the music industry and it’s between Wendy Shay and Kelvyn Boy. The funny aspect of this whole new phenomenon is that the beef started under the Peace Conference between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, a programme that was designed to bring lasting solution to the two Dancehall artists.

If you just landed from Pluto and you don’t know what the hell is going on, let’s drop the full gist here. It all happened at the Peace Conference held at the Mariot Hotel initiated by Dr. Kofi Abban and Nana Aba Anamoah to facilitate the peace process between the two heavyweights of Dancehall music in Ghana.

When the programme was over and it was time for the feuding parties who have been reconciled to take photos, Kelvyn Boy was nowhere to be found so Nana Aba Anamoah called him from the crowd to come and join Bullet, Wendy Shay, Shatta Wale, Stoneboy and Blakk Cedi to take photos.

When Kelvyn Boy arrived, he greeted Bullet but when he got to the turn of the Uber Driver hitmaker, he shunned her completely despite the fact that the Wendy Shay stretched her arms and was ready to embrace him.

Although Kelvyn Boy initially revealed he has no problem with Wendy Shay and explained the situation that resulted in that awkward moment, the Afro-Pop singer is here spitting fire in a new interview on Accra FM.

He jabbed Wendy Shay and said she needs awards and hit songs to thrive in the industry and not him.
