This year’s VGMAs recorded a riot on stage which had never happened in the history of any Ghanaian awards show.
As Stonebwoy was announced the Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year, he walked up the stage to take his award and deliver a speech. A few seconds later, we realized Shatta Wale and his fans walking aggressively to the stage for reasons best known to him but considering those threatening tweets he made prior to the VGMA night, you wouldn’t be wrong if you also felt he had bad intentions.
We witnessed some exchange of blows on stage as fans and team members of both artistes fumed with anger.
In a video we watched as posted on by UTV Ghana’s page, Stonebwoy was heard saying he will beat Shatta Wale hands down should he try to fight him.
