CEO of Highgrade family and legendary Reggae dancehall recording artiste Samini has expressed disappointment at musicians who mime to their song on stage during musical performances.
Known for his energetic live band performances, the ‘Linda’ hitmaker noted that artists who cannot perform their music live are fraudsters.

According to him, displaying such amazing craft on stage with a live band gives the musician the chance to connect to the audience in a unique way adding that every musician must be able to perform their music live to entertain their fans in a unique way.
“So, if performing and you have your recorded voice playing and your microphone acting like you are performing, it’s either you are a fraud or doing karaoke. You are not a complete musician if you cannot perform your music live”, he stated.
Samini also advised musicians who haven’t mastered the art of live performances to try their best and learn to improve their stagecraft.
Samini’s energetic performances have over the years been identified with him and the electrifying performance he delivered at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards after Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale’s scuffle that marred the show for almost 30 minutes is something we will forever remember.
