Originally Ghanaian-produced comic drama, Keteke has been selected as the official opening film at the 2019 edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) in Burkina Faso.

“Keteke” which is described by many as a solid movie and unique feature film has gained several awards and nominations in the past two years.
Earlier in 2019, the movie was nominated in the 2019 edition of FESPACO alongside other movies in the category of ”“Fiction Long Feature”. This new announcement therefore puts the icing on the cake for the movie.

Peter Sedufia, the producer of the movie, expressing his contentment on his facebook page said,”#KETEKE is the OFFICIAL OPENING FILM for FESPACO 2019. Starring Fred Nii Amugi, Adjetey Anang, Lydia Forson, Clemento Suarez and other top actors, the movie has been aired in many countries World-wide including Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, Scotland, England among others.

FESPACO 2019 is scheduled to begin from tomorrow, 23rd February 2019 to 2nd March 2019 in the Burkinabe capital.
