The Prosecution in the case in which Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are standing trial on Thursday told the Adjabeng Magistrate Court hearing the case that it would call four witnesses.

The prosecution, Superintendent Emelia Asante, informed the court that they had already filed the witness statements of three, pending one and a video clip as well as some exhibits.
She, however, prayed the court to be granted some time to be able to file the remaining witness statement and the exhibits.
The court presided over by Mr Isaac Addo gave the prosecution up to July 15, to file the rest of the statement and exhibits.

The matter was then adjourned to July 16.
At the last sitting, the two were both granted bail in the sum of Gh¢50,000.00 each with one surety each.
Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, and Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy, were in May 2019 put before the Court for their involvement in the chaos that disrupted this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The two have been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace, and while Stonebwoy is facing an additional charge of displaying a weapon in a public place without permission.

They all pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
The two accused have been cautioned to be of to be of good behaviour.
