Ghanaian reggae/dancehall and Afropop musician, Etsey Setekla known famously as Stonebwoy has allegedly been nominated in this year’s edition of Kids Choice Awards.
The annual event held by Nickelodeon, has in its 32nd year, nominated Stonebwoy in the category of Favourite African Star in the most revered award scheme.

The “Kpokeke” hitmaker posted a photo on his official Instagram handle indicating that he was nominated in the category which was previously won by Eddy Kenzo of Uganda.
However, a quick check on the Nickelodeon website didn’t show stonebwoy’s name on any of the lists. Even the list of Favourite African Star isn’t available on the page. We have even searched their social media pages but to no avail.

While we are happy for Stonebwoy’s success, it is quite unclear why Nickelodeon has decided to keep this away from their handles.
