Stonebwoy’s Contract With Zylofon Music To Expire In 2019

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy would be officially exiting Zylofon Music this year and he has no interest in renewing his contract with the company, Ghbase.com has learned.

When he joined the label in August 2017, some of his fans were not excited about the move as they felt he was ‘bigger’ than the brand. Several of them begged him to leave the company after it was announced in February 2018 that, Shatta Wale has also been signed to join the label.

During that period, we witnessed the arrogant version of Stonebwoy and we believe you remember all of those episodes, so we wouldn’t touch on it, but at the time, one couldn’t blame Stonebwoy alone as some elements in the Zylofon Media such as Bulldog, Willie Roi and others made things uncomfortable for him.

It took Nana Appiah Mensah’s intervention for things to calm down and it has been revealed that in the settling of the disputes he had with the company, he asked for the duration of his contract to be reduced.

When he joined the company in August 2017 we were never told the number of years he had signed for, but for now, all we know is in a matter of 2-4 months, Stonebwoy’s other leg will be out of Zylofon Music.

The head of communications for Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo also confirmed in an interview that, Stonebwoy would be done with Zylofon Music in 2019 because his contract was reviewed.

No wonder, Stonebwoy disclosed in an interview last year that, he can’t wait for his other leg to be out of Zylofon Music, because of how he’s been treated by people like Willie Roi.

Well, we would update you when that day finally comes. Keep reading the news from Ghbase.com always for fresh entertainment news, celebrity gossips, Social media drama and more.
