As the tension grows on the topic of who originated Azonto or whether Azonto was dead, Keche (Joshua) in a video decided to speak his mind on the issue, thereby telling Gasmilla to take his Azonto while they also take their music.
Gasmilla has been in the news for the past week, demanding respect from other artists and saying Azonto was not dead but those who could not continue left.
Speaking during an interview with Abeiku Santana, Gasmilla revealed that, Azonto was not dead. He mentioned that top artists left Azonto to chase another genre of music.
Gasmilla of Telemo fame spark this controversy when Sarkodie decided to go with the agenda “Bring Azonto Back“. This agenda does not seem to go down well with Gasmilla.

Keche, on the other hand, decided to address the issue in the simplest way by telling Gasmilla to take his Azonto/dance while the rest of the musicians take their music.
He also mentioned that, after several or countless Azonto songs, they were never given an award. Even Guru who coined terms to make a great impact in the Azonto scene was not recognized with an award.
