Mother of dancehall act Shatta wale, Madam Elsie Wemegah has disclosed that soon and very soon, her hometown people will make our dancehall artiste Chief in her hometown. She disclosed this in an interview with Kwesi Aboagye on Peace FM.
“In my hometown, we practice the matrilineal system when it comes to selecting chiefs. I’ve been telling my son to stop some of his wayward behaviours in public, because if he likes it or yes, they will soon catch him and make him chief in my hometown”
She continued, “And so, some of his behaviour don’t befit someone who’s going to be make a chief soon’.
So there you have it, our dancehall artiste gonna be Togbui in Volta Region soon.
