A 28-year old shop owner, Wisdom Darkey, has been “intentionally” knocked and killed at Dzolo Gbogame by a taskforce team of Ho West District Assembly in the Volta region, residents claimed.

He said, a team of four task force officers including a lady and a driver, locked the shop because the deceased could not pay an amount of Ghc 25.00 as district levy.
He indicated that, after minutes of dragging an issue with the officers over payment of the revenue, the deceased begged to pay ghc20.00 but the officers demanded full payment, and that has led to disagreement between both the shop owner and the officials.
