The Management of the Mental Hospital in Pantang has announced to the public through a letter/statement that, the hospital has confirmed a case of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19.
The hospital management said this case was confirmed when a patient who did not pass through the outpatient department was transported directly into a ward for mental health treatment.

The case was confirmed yesterday. Pantang Mental Hospital management is making all efforts to sustain the case as they prepare to transfer the patient to one of the various centres approved to treat people with the Coronavirus.

They also thank the staff for making sure they used the precautionary measures while attending to the said patient.
Persons who came into contact with the patient will be isolated and tested for the virus.
They assure the staff of the protective measures put in place to protect them from any sort of infection.
