Rufftown Records artiste, Wendy Shay has appealed to Ghanaian bloggers to stop writing negative news about celebrities in the country.
Wendy, who was speaking at the launch of iCLUB which was covered by zionfelix.net, said negative news being put across on the internet will create a bad perception about the country and celebrities to those outside Ghana.
She believes positive news being written about celebrities and the country will help bring in investors.
“I will urge the bloggers to help project the positivity of our stars and country. Please let’s portray the good things we do here to others,” she stated.
The ‘Uber Driver’ composer added that since whatever being put on the internet is indexed by search engines, bad impressions will be created if bloggers continue to feed the internet with negative news instead of the good things about celebrities and other things in the country.
Wendy Shay stressed that bloggers have a critical role to play in nation-building.
